The Noble Lie, or: a bad guy to hate

groupthink doesn't work without the bad guys to hate on, that's how you group people up. the group is so much easier to control than individuals, and once you have them hating, they aren't doing a whole lot of thinking. the entire social structure is based on inequality and war, you can't have people doing their own thinking, getting along and working together if you want to rule the world. and like all abusive manipulations, the trauma has to keep escalating in order to maintain the same level of control. here's where we're at and why it's only getting worse.

what are you so afraid of?

afraid that there isn't really some Absolute Truth/Authority to tell you what to do, that there's nobody else to blame, and it really was up to you all along?
